Express yourself freely on Gab.com, a true free speech social network

Why Gab?

Tired of being punished for every word you say because some dumb snowflake gets offended by it? Tired of being endlessly suspended because some fucker doesn’t understand the concept of irony or sarcasm? Tired of “people of color”, “muslims” and “women” being this protected class of whom none shall speak ill? You just want to express yourself without some asshole constantly barking at you for being “too left” or “too right” of politics or if you just plain don’t give a fuck about it?

Well, then you might want to join GAB.

Gab is a social network which has a similar feel to Twitter, but without any of the censoring bullshit and hard left authoritarian lunacies (and without right ones as well). No one there will coddle your feels. In fact no one gives a shit about your feels. They give you the tools to build up your echo chamber by muting words and users or block them entirely if you want, but no one will run network wide “algorithms” to shadowban or censor others on behalf of your sorry ass fragile existence. I don’t even understand why Twitter has such tools when everyone apparently expects them to censor shit automatically and globally. It always pissed me off. Stop wrapping me in cotton wool, hit me with unrefined opinions of others. I can handle them. Instead dumb Twitter kept warning me about fucking “sensitive” content and if I really want to see it despite having all that shit disabled in the settings.

Banned from all app stores for crimes of free speech

The crazy left is so terrified of this notion that no one is controlling the speech on a platform that they had to go and literally ban Gab from both, GooglePlay and Apple App Store with an excuse of “hate speech promotion”. It’s so obvious what they did even Ray Charles can see it. And he’s blind and dead…

Install Gab from their official webpage (only download from there)

Android 8.x should ask you to allow installation of APK from unknown source when you try opening it, add the app performing the install to the exclusion (usually the browser itself or the File Manager of some sort) and install the Gab. No version available yet for Apple devices at this moment.

Spreading FUD about Gab to scare people from using it…

There will also be people who will try to convince you that Gab is a home of white nationalists and literal nazis. Well, that’s “fake news” as people like to put it these days. Yeah, at the moment, there are a lot of conservatives and people with right sided politics on Gab, because they’ve been suspended, banned and kicked from pretty much all major social platforms which are all owned and controlled by crazy hardcore leftists who are slowly but efficiently starting to eat each other already. But that doesn’t mean people with different opinions and politics aren’t welcome on Gab. Everyone’s welcome on Gab.

I’m not what you think I am for promoting Gab…

Reading this post you might think, damn, this Trump loving white dude must be a right winger for sure. And you’d be wrong. I’m slightly left leaning libertarian. Just few taps away from center. The dirty centrist basically. When you’re pissing everyone off, you’re doing it just right. Remember that.

I’ve dumped Twitter after getting suspended twice for stupid bullshit (of which some you could read here on my blog as well) and I was so fed up and pissed, I just deleted it all. And now I’m exclusively on Gab. I regret nothing, even though it’s still a bit quiet for now.

So, come on over to Gab and express yourself freely without having to worry some overlord on top will get butthurt and punish you over your opinions or words. It just feels so liberating in this crazy world obsessed with political correctness and censorship…

20th March 2018, the day free speech died

I don’t know how many of you are aware of the Count Dankula case and I’ll try to explain it in as little words as possible for normies to understand it, but I’m still kinda shocked that this is an actual court case and not just a very elaborate joke itself.

2 years ago, a Scottish comedian Count Dankula (Mark Meechan) posted a video where he taught his pug to do a Nazi salute to annoy his girlfriend. He even explicitly stated on the video that he’s doing it to annoy his girlfriend by turning his pug into the most revolting thing possible (a Nazi).

Fast forward 2 years and this is him…

Nope. This is not a joke. This is literally him being handcuffed and dragged through courts for 2 years over a fucking Nazi joke. Today, on 20th March 2018, he was convicted under communications act of being “grossly offensive” and he is now facing 2 years of prison.

Here is Tommy Robinson giving few words on the matter in front of the court where Mark Meechan was convicted.

I find this absolutely terrifying. I’d understand it if it was in some shithole of a country run by a dictator. No, this is Scotland. United Kingdom. Western democratic world. Convicting a man over a joke. For real. It literally happened. And I still can’t believe it. It’s literally surreal that someone can get imprisoned over a joke in a modern society. When shit like this happens, you know society has fucked up and needs to go back.

There is literally nothing in this world that is offensive enough to land someone in prison. You can insult me, my family, my dog, my country and I’ll probably think you’re an asshole, but I’d defend you to have that right and not getting imprisoned or fined for it. And everyone should have such stance, because only this way, we can ensure “being offended” is not being abused to silence and ruin people.

Like Tommy Robinson said, this ridiculous case is setting a precedents to silence people in the future. If Mark Meechan could be silenced and imprisoned for making a stupid joke, what’s next? If muslims find it offensive for making people aware of mass grooming of young underage girls by muslims and you land in a jail for it. You state that wage gap is bullshit and you land in a prison for offending feminists. Make fun of the Queen and they’ll lock you up. It sets an absolutely ridiculous precedents for the future that UK government wants in order to silence people they don’t like. And shit like this is spreading like cancer through Europe and it’s scary as fuck. Soon we won’t be allowed to make a joke about anything or anyone on social media because it could literally get you imprisoned.

People need to realize what a dangerous situation this is for our modern society. Where does it end? Who defines what offends someone? It’s dangerous shit that shouldn’t be happening and I fear for the future of free speech in Europe. It happens time and time again that people who endorse such censorship and silencing of others soon get hit by very same “rules” they imposed. So, why not simply allow everyone to be offensive to everyone and call it a day?

I really hope this will be brought forward to UN and other human rights organizations and brought back to court to make this nonsense disappear. It’s ridiculous and backwards. Shit like this belongs to medieval times, not to modern time Europe for fucks sake.

It’s not censorship when private companies do it. Or is it?

Twitter_Sheep_Censored

There was a lot of talking about this after basically all incidents where high profile people got censored on social networks for what they posted there or sometimes even got banned for it. And every time it ended with: “yeah well, they are private company and they can do whatever they please since it’s their social network, but…”

This idea only supposedly holds true if the government is censoring people, which by the First Amendment in America, it’s not allowed to. I’m not aware of any law here in Europe that entitles us to same level of freedom of speech. I guess we have something similar, but it’s not as prominent as famous First Amendment in US, which is why I’m not aware of it off the top of my head.

Three reasons why I think this is bullshit and why private companies should be held to the same standards as governments when it comes to free speech:

1. Laws like First Amendment were written down in times when there was NO concept of internet or social media. At all. It was designed for forms of media existing back in those days, which was basically just public communication in person and newspapers, maybe? Today, media in general spans far wider and as we can see already, social networks are far more important and effective than any other form of communication, especially when it comes down to pushing ideologies or shaping global political landscapes.

2. Companies can do it on behalf of the government and allow governments to censor people unpunished. It’s not like they’ll gonna brag about it, so, if no one finds out, no harm done by the government, right? Nice example of that was Facebook censoring Germans when they expressed concerns over “Syrian refugees”. Anyone daring to talk about that or even criticize Angela Merkel for allowing this mass immigration from Middle East got punished on Facebook by a ban or demand to delete those kind of messages, because Germany’s government and Facebook made a censorious agreement in that regard. Of course they weren’t bragging about it, but it’s not like people wouldn’t find out…

3. Third and in my opinion most important reason, social networks these days are bigger than most governments. In fact they are bigger than biggest governments combined. And since they are so effective at shaping narratives or pushing certain messages to millions and billions of people, they should be held to the same standards as governments when it comes to free speech. Especially because these very same social networks dictate how governments are perceived or shaped by the voters based on how company itself is aligned on the political map. For example, in Twitter’s case, they are very much aligned with the pushing of feminist bullshit and hating the people who align with the political right. Facebook censoring people who have an opinion over Middle Eastern immigrants taking over their country. Yes, they are private companies, but they affect real life countries and governments more than anything else these days. If you ask me, that very much makes them involved with the governments and lives of people under certain government and thus they are doing censorship in the name or on behalf of governments. And such behavior should be prohibited by a worldwide global law(s).

Social networks should be neutral

Because of the above three reasons, social networks should be neutral and should not side with anyone, because they are already too involved with governments no matter how much everyone denies it. And yes, this is censorship and silencing of people. I don’t give a fuck if a social network is run by a private company. It’s clearly and very much visibly affecting real world governments and people under them and not necessarily in a positive way. Technologies and media change, but laws remained the same. Laws need to be updated for current modern times to ensure this neutrality and actual freedom of speech. Yes, also by enforcing this on private companies like Twitter and Facebook.

Only question is, which government will be the first one to enforce it? I have very little hope for Germany given recent events and it’s not looking particularly good for United States either, despite existing First Amendment… There might be some hope in France maybe. French know how to do revolutions. But in the end, governments are benefiting from all of this, why would they interfere with it? This is my main concern why things might never change or improve…
